Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor as well as a board member of SSC since 2011 is the founding co-artistic director for the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She worked as the Artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC She was also the composer/music supervisor for the company as well as a the company's text instructor. For her last year she served as director and lighting designer for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been in charge of the production from a group and in this year's production began her first directorial experience. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. As well as acting, she's also part of several games shows. Her two sisters and daughter were born in the home of her science-minded father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she was a student and a cheerleader. Post briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. On a personal note Post was previously married with Stephen Knox. Her daughters are married to the actor/writer Michael A. Ross, whom she was married to in 1982. Post's career as an actor, wife and mother provides a fantastic example for Hollywood.
